Materials/Techniques: This little quilt is 100% cotton fabric and batting. It was machine pieced and machine quilted on my 1951 Singer 15-91 sewing machine.

Artist Statement: I like to take traditional patterns and twist them up some. This started out as a traditional 'rail fence' pattern, but in a very colorful way, then got crazier when I added unequal purple and red borders. Not enough yet, hmmmm -- how about some red yo-yo's? I can't say why I think it's right now, and wasn't before -- sometimes you just have to trust your eye!
