Materials/Techniques: I used fused hand-dyed cottons, embroidery and machine quilting, with an overlay of dark netting.

Artist Statement: I wanted to show how a shade or veil dropped on the memories of my parents and friends once Alzheimer's disease took over. Their thoughts were never again as bright as they once were.
