Materials/Techniques: Cotton quilt fabric embellished with a variety of stitches, using metallic, cotton, nylon and rayon fibers. Layered with cotton batting and cotton backing, then quilted with a meandering design.

Artist Statement: I started making AAQI quilts in Jan 2012 while recovering from hand surgery. These small quilts were just the right size to work on using just one hand. Now I am working on my $1,000 Promise challenge. I love making these little works of art.

Dedication: To my children Julie & Lila who lost their grandmother Lena Sorbo to Alzheimer's.

This quilt has a Traditional Sleeve.
