Materials/Techniques: Flower pounding, machine quilted. I've added a Shiva Paint Stick, hand embroidered fence, broderie perse Morning Glories, a hand appliquéd humming bird with an embroidered bill and bead eye. Beads are also added to the morning glory centers.

Artist Statement: To keep current with the Quilt-A-Month Club a year ago, I purchased a quilt made by Anna Myers, Valparaiso, IN with the idea that I could add to it and send it back. She had pounded flowers and machine quilted it with great variegated thread. It has hung in my house since waiting for inspiration which came this last month to be a garden quilt.
