Artist's Statement: Aunt Jean was drawn to gold and glitz like a bird is attracted to shiny objects. She wore gold jewelry, shoes, belts, purses and nail ornaments. Until Alzheimer’s stole her sense of self, she was quite a glamour girl. She passed away in 2006 at the age of 83. Shine on, Aunt Jean.
Dedication: In honor of Aunt Jean.
