Materials/Techniques: Hand-painted background fabric with adornments and yarn sewn down with a zigzag stitch. The circles are cut out and then placed inside the opposite circle and appliquéd down.

Artist Statement: Our Quilt-a-Month challenge was circles. I had made a similar, larger quilt a couple of years ago and thought the technique would fit beautifully with the challenge.
