Width: 9.5" Length: 7.75"
Materials/Techniques: After running the freezer paper and fabric through the printer I did some more highlights with Neocolor II crayons and sewed on two buttons. The buttons had been replaced at some time and I never noticed that one has 2 holes and the other has 4 so that's what I sewed on. It is free motion quilted and thread signed.
Artist Statement: You don't win a prize for guessing correctly but as they say you have the satisfaction of having the right answer. They are from 1938. My mother said she was sorry they were not bronzed (she didn't have the money). I was very happy; you can see all the wear and age. I took a picture and then put the fabric on freezer paper and ran it through my printer. They are hanging in my bedroom right now.
Dedication: To my two friends Barbara and Ele', who are caregivers and to all caregivers.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
This quilt earned $70 for the AAQI.
