Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Cotton fabric with details hand-embroidered in cotton, rayon and metallic flosses. It is hand quilted, and accented with a butterfly button. Contrasting cotton fabric faux piping creates a border between the panel and the binding. It is filled with needle-punch cotton batting and backed with quilting cotton. All fabrics were washed before I started construction.
Artist Statement: I had this piece of pre-printed fabric amongst some samples I had been given, and decided it might be kind of fun to turn it into a little quilt with all its lovely produce and bright colors.
