Materials/Techniques: Commercially printed cotton fabrics, cotton batting, machine quilting and fabric paint pens.

Artist Statement: I have been reading about thread painting and wanted to try my hand at it using my old Merritt Singer sewing machine that does not allow you to drop the feed dogs. I dug through my stash and found this printed fabric of a large eagle. I got the head done before the tension went out and I finished the piece on my other vintage machine.
