Materials/Techniques: Printed cotton fabric scraps, batting, velvet type material for the binding, invisible thread and fabric markers. I used raw edge appliqué, then hand embroidered and machine quilted.

Artist Statement: From my scrap bag I collected some pieces that I thought I could form a flower with leaves and have a nice floral quilt. As I put it together I kept getting the picture of a childhood cartoon character in my mind. Who does it remind you of?
