Materials/Techniques: Printed cotton fabric, flannel, batting, embroidery thread and invisible thread. This is made with reverse appliqu�, with the edges turned under and hand embroidered around the heart shaped edge. I added three rows of echo quilting.

Artist Statement: Raggedy Ann and Andy have stood the test of time. Almost everyone remembers them from their own childhood or their children's or grandchildren�s. I combined this printed fabric with another childhood favorite, a red and white stripe flannel, and put them inside my heart because I will always cherish those memories.
