Width: 8.25" Length: 7.75"
Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Design is drawn on white fabric with a brown Sharpie pen, then colored with NeoColor II and water. I love the flow of color with a lot of water. I used oil pastels for a resist to keep the white areas white, then I free motion quilted it.. I used some shimmer threads on the white of his face. It is thread signed.
Artist Statement: This started out to be my niece's cat but turned out more like Garfield's cousin. He is very confident but sort of knows about the diet thing. He gets around both issues by staying in bed on Mondays and pulling the blankets over his head. You can only start a diet on Monday so all is well the rest of the week. I hope this gives someone a laugh and a minute of joy in the day.
