Materials/Techniques: This design is drawn on white fabric with a brown Sharpie pen. I colored it with NeoColor II crayons with water. I love the flow of color when mixed with a lot of water. There are a lot of what I call happy mistakes. You never know where that water is going. I free motion quilted it with some metallic threads. There are a few beads also.

Artist Statement: Some things in our lives are broken but still have beauty. I love Zinnias because they are so sturdy and last so long. I believe this one is called State Fair.
