Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabrics accented with imitation leather, machine pieced and quilted, hand beaded with beads purchased in South Africa.

Artist Statement: These wonderful mosaic fabrics were left over from a large purse I made for a challenge. The beaded ruffle mimics the details I added to the outside pockets of the bag. The little 'Made with Love' charm was found in South Africa in a town called Umhlanga. If each of my wonderful memories from Africa was a marble I just might be able to fit them in the bag made from these fabrics. I pray I can safely carry them with me for all time.
