Materials/Techniques: Machine pieced and quilted in Texas-themed fabrics. Embellished with buttons and sterling silver armadillo charms (made by Texas jeweler, James Avery) and cowboy hat charms.
Artist's Statement: This quilt has a “bonus” Friendship Star block on the back because Texas is known as the Friendship State and the Lone Star State.
Dedication: In memory of Bob Williams, an exemplary Texan, and also in honor of his wife, LaNere, a devoted Alzheimer’s caregiver.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.
