Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric with cotton flannel for batting. Quilted with polyester thread and embellished with buttons, flowers are two layers of fabric fused together with fusible web then cut with pinking shears. Hand quilted and binding is the backing fabric rolled to the front.

Artist Statement: I was having fun playing with pink and blue fabric. This is the first time I've made "flowers" from fabric squares rather than rounds or petals. The buttons in the center of flowers helped to make it happen.
