Materials/Techniques: This beige cat, with yellow eyes, is appliquéd on a dark green background. On its ears it wears a brown turkey with beige wings and a red head and tail. Small gold beads embellish the tail and wing. Echo quilting on the background emphasizes the cat.

Artist Statement: May this whimsical cat with turkey 'hats' on its ears remind us to give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings we enjoy in the USA! I think the turkeys are giving thanks for being 'alive'.
