Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric is rough cut appliquéd, I used a cotton batting and invisible and cotton thread, the bird and grass were highlighted using fabric paint pens.

Artist Statement: Being a former CNA, I have taken care of many people afflicted with Alzheimer's. I love to sew and recycle and this is the most positive way that I can support research and hopefully someday soon a cure.
