Materials/Techniques: I used cotton fabric and a computer printed photo which I cut apart and fused to the black background, then machine quilted.

Artist Statement: This quilt was designed by me to honor the memory of my mother who had Alzheimer's disease for about 10 years. When she could not figure out how to do things she had always done easily, we knew her mind was 'fractured'.
