Materials/Techniques: The flower is hand appliquéd on a cotton background. It is embellished with hand-stitched veins in the leaf and a ladybug ornament, then it is machine quilted in an echo pattern around the appliqué.

Artist Statement: I made this quilt to support Alzheimer's research.
