Materials/Techniques: The sunflowers were fussy cut from cotton fabric and fused onto the background. Then I thread painted the flowers and machine quilted the quilt using a small clam-shell free motion pattern.

Artist Statement: I made this quilt to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease and to fund research.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to my mother-in-law, who loved sunflowers.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $75 for the AAQI.
