Materials/Techniques: I made this quilt using patriotic cotton fabrics left over from a Quilts of Valor quilt. It is a pieced braid and is embellished with an American Flag pin. I hand quilted it in the ditch of the strips. The back is also pieced with patriotic fabrics.

Artist Statement: I made this quilt to support Alzheimer's research.

Dedication: This quilt was made with my step-father in mind. He was a "hero" to me in many ways and he also served in the military.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $23.09 for the AAQI.
