Materials/Techniques: An assortment of cotton white on white squares were used to create a patchwork background. The appliqué is fused and buttonhole stitched to the background using matching metallic threads. Cotton batting was used and it is machine quilted around the appliqué.

Artist Statement: This bouquet of hearts is for my beautiful Grandma. I wish she was here to accept them, the dreaded Alzheimer’s took her.
