Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics were strip pieced together to create the background. I hand appliquéd the fish and a fussy cut eye to the surface. Permanent pens were used to ink in the fins. My friend Shirley Ducote hand quilted the quilt.

Artist Statement: I made this quilt to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research and to show my support for the AAQI.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $36.95 for the AAQI.
