Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics, polyester batting, foundation/paper-piecing, traditional piecing. Home machine quilted.

Artist Statement: This design started out as a circle divided in seven wedges. The paper-pieced wedges are then set in a surrounding circle and the hardest thing about the construction is deciding which of seven points to put at the top. I was so pleased with the way the continuous-line quilting in the center came out that I could hardly stay in the same room with myself.
