Artist Statement: I designed this quilt just for fun and it’s one of many that start out that way. That’s as far as some designs go (my files are full of them). This one actually got made and I’m happy that happened.

Dedication: To Ken and Pearl Taylor. Ken will be 100 years old in 2012 and Pearl is a few years younger. Both widowed, they married each other in 1996 and Pearl told me once that at that time, she figured they might have a couple of years left to be together. We’re all very happy that she underestimated!
