Materials/Techniques: All fabrics and batting are 100% cotton. The quilt is foundation pieced using Carol Doak's methods and embellished with seed pearls, bugle beads and sequins, some from my daughter's wedding gown.

Artist Statement: "Pieces of My Heart" was made in memory of one of my dearest friends who lost her battle with frontal lobe dementia.

Dedication: Dedicated to Bertha Lorene Mason Smith, my friend, whom I miss dearly.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $65 for the AAQI.
