Artist's Statement: This quilt is the mirror image of #1104, “A Tulip for Gladys”. Shapes were free form cut out of two pieces of fabric and traded between each other to form two images, the same, yet different.
Dedication: My brother died from Alzheimer’s at age 59. He was known in his neighborhood for the colorful flower garden in his front yard. He was a patent attorney and, as memory failed, his flowers replaced the love of science he had enjoyed his entire life.
