Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabrics, leftover cotton piping pieces, beaded trim, other beads. Machine pieced and quilted with a stitched and painted edge.

Artist Statement: I used a small batik image (a gift from someone) as the center of this quilt and framed it with piping remnants. The beaded trim and additional beads across the top made me think of a journey yet to be taken to a distant land.
