Materials/Techniques: I used cotton fabrics and cotton batting in this quilt. The appliqué is hand needle turned and it is hand quilted. Buttons and ribbon trim accessorize the dress.

Artist Statement: Lyla is our eighteenth (18) grandchild. Her Mom loves to dress her in the dresses I make for her and she loves it too.

Dedication: Cecil Arceneaux, my sister-in-law, died from Alzheimer's at 60 years old after a four year struggle. She and I shared an interest in sewing and embroidery.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
