Materials/Techniques: The tree is made from the cut away seams of clothing that were then twisted, zigzagged by machine and sewn by hand to the background forming the trunk and branches. Additional stitching with both metallic and regular thread added detail and quilting. The bird was fused and stitched in place.

Artist Statement: I made this to honor my parents who both died from Alzheimer's disease.
