Artist Statement: My sister, Catherine, suffers from advancing Alzheimer's. She has been an artist all her life. Despite her disease, she still can draw but prefers to work only in black and white. We have encouraged her to make sketches for Alzheimer's research, which I turn into quilts. Drawn by Catherine Bromley, then quilted and finished by her sister, Marilyn Kaldahl.
