Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Cotton fabric, photo printed to fabric, hand colored with crayons, machine quilted.
Artist Statement: I attend many National’s baseball games. There is nothing like sitting with the crowd, seeing the pitch, and hearing the crack of the bat. The picture of the third baseman was captured in 2012, and taken using the outline mode of my camera. It was transferred to fabric and then hand-colored. No matter what is happening in your life, summer baseball memories can’t be beat. This quilt was made to celebrate summer and one of the nation’s past times.
Note: The two pins were inadvertently left in during photography. You won't get them with your quilt. :)
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
