Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric in front, back and batting are used in this little mini. After using pearl cotton white thread in the lady and the three peach blossoms in the upper right, I decided to machine quilt two more blossoms under them, [in black thread] and one positioned behind my lady. They didn't show up like I wanted them to do, so I stitched them again, by hand, in a medium pink color with one strand of DMC embroidery thread.

Artist Statement: I am trying my luck at Japanese Sashiko stitching.
