Materials/Techniques: All fabrics are batiks, with clear thread used for the quilting.

Artist Statement: A modified old Chinese block from the 1930’s seemed just right for the light background fabric that reminded me of a Chinese looking what-not from my distant childhood. I decided that maybe the boxes held some sort of treasure, thus the jewel colored centers.
