Materials/Techniques: Cotton printed marbled fabrics, quilted with clear thread. Shapes of stars are quilted between the pieced stars.

Artist Statement: The color scheme helped the central block to vaguely resemble a flower with leaves. The border stars were actually made before the center, then fitted around the central motif, an example of adding on until a little quilt appeared.
