Materials/Techniques: All fabrics are batiks with wider than normal sashing’s for the size of the blocks, a border of many colors with 1/8 inch binding and quilted in the ditch with clear thread.

Artist Statement: There are numerous log cabin type blocks and these are just a very few of them. Most are with an odd number of logs across the block, but I made these 6 log wide and tall. Of course the placement of blocks is what makes log cabin quilts so interesting. Some of these might work up into a nice quilt.
