Materials/Techniques: On the main cotton background fabric [the bubbles] I heat transferred the grass and fish, also of cotton fabric. After putting a black netting over the top, I machine sewed them all in place on top of the first layer of cotton batting. I then cut out the piece and satin stitched it to the hand quilted orange fabric. On the back, I hand quilted two larger "ghost" fish just to keep with the theme.

Artist Statement: I first made one of these little fishy quilts for my great grandson and then decided to make one for AAQI. I wanted it to look like you are looking into an aquarium.
