Artist Statement: This quilt represents how fragile our brains are--strong like a butterfly emerging from the cocoon when we are young, but fragile as we get older, just like the butterfly.
Dedication: Made in memory of my Aunt Rowena Robert Millet, who died from Alzheimer's on 4/23/10.
