Materials/Techniques: Cotton appliqué with beading.

Artist Statement: Villi Ruusu is wild rose in Finnish. They were my mother's favorite flower. The background fabric was batiked by my sister and represents Lake Vermilion, while the wild roses still grow at the cabin for my mother.

Dedication: In loving memory of my mother, Viola Dorothy Lahti Hendrickson.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
