Artist Statement: Adopt a dog. An older dog knows they have been given a break and will forever appreciate your kindness. They will aim to please. This little quilt is sending two messages: support Alzheimer's research and if you want to add a dog (or cat) to your household take a look at local shelters or animal rescue facilities. There are wonderful animals waiting and needing good homes.
