Materials/Techniques: Top, backing and embellishments are 100% cotton, batting is 80/20 Hobbs, the quilt is pieced and quilted by machine. The embellishments are a mixture of applied lace motifs and hand embroidery.

Artist Statement: One of my older sisters is in the final stages of this disease...there seems to be nothing I can do for her, so I make quilts to support the research. As children we slept under a crazy quilt made by our grandmother.
