Materials/Techniques: I used PFD white cloth and Neocolor II crayons and water. I put an extra layer of batting under the poppies and quilted a little and then added the full layer of batting and quilted a lot more. I beaded the centers of the poppies.

Artist Statement: Flowers are my favorite subject to draw or paint. I try to work from real life in my garden or from my photos.
