Materials/Techniques: This was my first attempt at a landscape type quilt. I made a fabric flower and used buttons for flowers. The leaves and stems are hand embroidered and it is machine quilted.

Artist Statement: This is the first of a series of quilts I made with scraps of purple fabrics to represent hope which is growing because of the research the AAQI helps support.
