Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Hand-dyed cotton fabrics, hand and machine embroidery, acrylic paint.
Artist Statement: To me, the frayed edges represent the fraying of the memories experienced by those with Alzheimer’s. Trying to recover them is like looking for a path through the trees that you know is there, but you can't find it. Made for the Dallas Area Fiber Artists, 2012 "Pathways" Alzheimer’s Quilt Challenge.
