Width: 9" Length: 12"
Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: Cotton/wool felt/organza; inkjet print on organza and embroidery.
Artist Statement: The central image is a photo I took of art paper I made, printed on organza. It is surrounded by torn strips of cotton, fraying just as I imagine thoughts begin to fray when dementia begins. Embroidered on the strips are the repeating questions that were asked by my grandmother. Made for the Dallas Area Fiber Artists, 2012 "Pathways" Alzheimer’s Quilt Challenge
