Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton, traditional piecing and machine quilted.

Artist Statement: The process begins simply. Everything is perfect in the first row. By row two, the rotation is reversed and by the end is beginning to get lost. In row three the colors become mixed and rotation continues to get scattered. Block two loses pieces and in block 3 the block is completely gone. This is so like the process Alzheimer’s creates in the brain of our loved ones.

Dedication: To my mom Lillian, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
