Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric, traditionally pieced and machine quilted.

Artist Statement: Using a collection of scraps someone gave me, I made these 3" star blocks. Unfortunately some of the fabrics faded out. Quilters usually try to avoid this, however in this case, it reminded me of the stars in the eyes of Alzheimer’s patients, slowly fading from us.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.

This quilt earned $73.90 for the AAQI.
