Materials/Techniques: I work mostly with crazy quilt and other foundation (stitch and flip) techniques. Fabric in this work is all cotton. The sun rays are acrylic paint mixed with fabric medium.
Artist's Statement: I love to play with color and texture to create a pleasing or clever whole. Most of my work is embellishment and abstract. If it brings a smile to the viewer’s face, I feel successful. My inspiration is often music.
