Materials/Techniques: Silk, hand-painted linen, cotton and polyester satin have been individually pieced, machine stitched, lacquered, eyelet-ed, then woven together to create is high profile web of intersecting byways, much like the pathways thru the brain. Though each piece is itself a three-layer quilt, the woven pieces are attached to a three-layer base.

Artist Statement: This "pathway" quilt takes the traditional quilt into another realm. It is part of the Dallas Area Fiber Arts 2012 Alzheimer's Quilt Challenge.
